Andrew Fayad - There isn't a lot of information on Mr. Fayad, but he is the CEO of eLearning Minds as of 2013. He is somewhat new to the eLearning industry and is primarily focused on corporate training, as opposed to k-12 learning.
This blog discusses how to use the app Snapchat as part of a social learning network. I feel like I struggle with making the connection between social networking and training/learning, so I was excited to see how this app (known for it's short term accessibility to content) could be utilized. Mr. Fayad suggests using Snapchat mostly to send reminders for upcoming meetings, training sessions, etc. It seems that the best feature here is that you can see if participants have read/seen the message or not.
I'm not sure how truly useful Snapchat is for actual elearning, but it is very mobile friendly, so if email or other reminders are not available, this could be a viable option.
